Lzzy is a puppy that will be available for adoption on or about March 4th, 2023. She will be approximately 9 weeks old at that time. She is a Jack Russell Terrier/Border Collie mix.

Mikaela’s Mutt Motel was at The Humane Society of Clarksville- Montgomery County when a man walked in with a box full of sick, malnourished puppies. The Humane Society staff explained that they do not take surrenders, so they would have to take them to Animal Control or talk to us about taking them. Of course, we couldn’t say no.

We went straight to our vet, where we found out they had a bad case of roundworms. They were malnourished and emaciated. You could feel and see every rib and their spines. We will be bringing them back to the vet for another exam and to ensure they have a negative fecal prior to adoption.
